LENA MARGARET FARYEWICZ,

-

98, a lifelong resident of North Little Rock, passed away August 22, 2021. She was born June 11, 1923, to the late Raymond Fischer and Lena Youngblood Fischer. She was preceded in death by her only brother, Raymond “Junior” Fischer. Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Frank “Sonny” Faryewicz. Survivors include their four daughters, Ann Fallon, Jane Eason (Fred), Ellen Callaway (Joe), Marijo Valentine; ten grandchildren, Michael Fallon (Amy), Jonathan Fallon (Sarah), Dr. Amy Phillips (Christopher), Timothy Fallon (Sasha), James Eason (Bridgette), Robert Eason (Brandy), Angela Mask (Chris), Matthew Callaway (Christi), Andrew Valentine (Gema), and Kimberly Valentine; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter expected in September, and many extended family members and friends.

Margaret was a graduate of North Little Rock High School and Little Rock Junior College. After College she joined her dad in building the Family Business, Fischer Honey Company. When she married Sonny he also became a part of the business. She had the vision of supporting the smaller beekeepers and to produce a high quality honey product. Together they grew the business which is now a National Brand. Her greatest joy was talking about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and going to the casino, where she never seemed to lose. She was one “Lucky Lady.” If you were ever at the house you knew there would always be a puzzle on the table being worked. She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society and Catholic Daughters of America. We would like to thank Home Instead and especially Tena Jackson for her loving care for the past four years.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Patrick’s Church, 211 West 19th Street, North Little Rock, Ark., 72114. Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2021, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
