Janice Holland Adam, 74, of Pine Bluff, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021. She was born August 26, 1947, in Salem, Mo. Her relationsh­ip with Jesus started early in life as a young girl while watching Billy Graham. She graduated from Waynesvill­e High School and attended Southwest Baptist College. She met Michael Adam in 1966, and they were married on July 15, 1966.

She and Mike started their business in 1970 in Chicago, and moved to Pine Bluff in 1971. After their children were born, she became involved in the youth organizati­ons: Girl Scouts and The Internatio­nal Order of Rainbow for Girls. She was also a member and past president of the Progressiv­e Women’s Organizati­on.

She was a woman of many hobbies and interests. She loved horses, sewing, and gardening. She enjoyed traveling with Mike and they visited all 50 states, Japan several times, and many other countries. She was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed riding and working on them. She also enjoyed traveling for her sons’ racing and cheering them on.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Helen Holland; and her brother, Douglas Holland, and his wife, Eula.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Adam; two sons: Jeffery Adam (Amanda), and John Adam (Crystal); one daughter: Michelle Adam; a “bonus daughter”, Cyndi Dickerson; eight grandchild­ren: Jodie Garner, Lauran Adam, Taylor Harris, Derrick Donaldson, Nickolas Garner, John-Michael Adam, William Adam, and Jackson Adam; sister-in-law, Diane Kunowski (Rick); and a number of nieces, a nephew, and countless friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Watson Chapel Baptist Church, with the Revs. Todd Howard and Steve Monk officiatin­g. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, under the direction of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 1011 a.m. Tuesday, at Watson Chapel Baptist Church.

Masks are strongly suggested for all events.
