PERRYVILLE — Johnny Edison Wise, II,

was born in Dallas, Texas, on April 6, 1972, a son, to Johnny Edison Wise Sr. and Yvonne Jean Talley Wise. Johnny stepped in the gates of Heaven on August 29, 2021, at the age of 49. He was a faithful church leader at Journey Church in Perryville, his home town, where he loved being. Johnny carried the title to many names. He was a devout husband, dad, was known as “Senior” to many who knew him; but his most important title was “Poppie.” Johnny owned Wise Excavation Company and was considered to be a “Profession­al Dirt Mover” as he would say. He was a proud owner and enthusiast of the Central Arkansas Motor Speedway.

Johnny was good with his hands and worked on motors as a pastime. Johnny had a love for life and everyone in it. He was kind, social, and family oriented. He loved deeply and never missed a chance to tell the ones he loved he did. Johnny will remain in the hearts and thoughts of all who knew him leaving behind many precious memories.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents and grandparen­ts: Bud and Allie Wise. Johnny is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany Wise of the home sons: Wesley Wise of Perryville, Bradley Martin of Hot Springs, and Ethan Weaver of Perryville; daughter: Brittany Barnard and husband Ryan of Germany; two grandchild­ren: Varick Lee Barnard and Theron Christophe­r York Barnard both of Germany; brothers and best friends: Jared Hunt of Perryville, Chuck Stane of Bigelow, and Matthew Oaks of Perryville; along with a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Journey Church, 1559 AR Hwy 9 South, Perryville, Ark., with services following at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery at Williams Junction, Ark. Service and arrangemen­ts are by Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home, #5 Bruce St., Morrilton, Ark., 72110, 501-354-1638.
