HOT SPRINGS — God called home his warrior angel; his end of watch is done. Shawn Thomas Davis,

-

37, of Hot Springs died tragically in a motorcycle accident on Thursday, September 2, 2021.

Shawn was born July 10, 1984 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Gary Thomas and Marjorie “Beth” Davis. They moved to Arkansas that same year. Shawn loved Arkansas and all it had to offer for the outdoor warrior that he grew to be. He was fierce; he was strong, with a uncanny ability to help anyone in need. Nowhere was this more apparent than at his job with Lifenet. No one could have ever prepared his wife Joan Davis, also an EMT at Lifenet, nor his very special co-workers for his devastating accident.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is also survived by his brother Eric Davis (Amanda and sons Luke and Brian) of Benton; grandparents Floyd and Virginia Brown of Hot Springs, aunt DeAnna Albright (Barrett) of Little Rock; niece Octavia Lovell; cousin Jennifer Albright-Gooch (Jeff and sons Mason and Bradley); close friend Rocky Derby; uncle Robert G. Davis Sr., Cayla McDowell.

A visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Friday at the Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center at 2529 Airport Road with the service beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a contribution to one of Shawn’s favorite charities: City of Hot Springs K-9 unit or Hot Springs FOP Shop with a Cop. Casual attire is requested. Bandanas and flip flops are optional.

Guests may register at www.caruth-hale.com.
