CONWAY — Mary Ann Penix,

of Conway, Ark., formerly of Pine Bluff, went to be with Jesus September 6, 2021. She was born March 6, 1947, the daughter of the late Charles Penix and Mary Fay Faulk Penix of Pine Bluff, Ark. She was reared and received her education at Pine Bluff, Ark. Following graduation, she worked for her father at his Radio Station before going to work at NCTR where she retired after 22 years. After retirement she was a substitute teacher for the White Hall School District and worked at WalMart before moving to Crown Point Assisted Living. Mary had an outgoing personalit­y and never met a stranger. She could remember things that happened many years ago. She loved to tease and play jokes on everyone. Mary loved animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed “babysittin­g” them. Before moving to Conway, she was an active member of Family Church in White Hall where she loved going and especially Oasis and Home Group.

Graveside services will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Friday, September 10, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., by Ralph Robinson and Son. Sister Joyce Welch will be speaking. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to Family Church, 2504 AR 104, White Hall, Ark., 71602, or Central Baptist Church, 3300 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Ark., 72034.
