EL DORADO — Helen R. Parker,

99, of El Dorado, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at her residence. She was born September 9, 1922 to Egbert L. and Mary McCall Campbell in Marysville, Ark.

She was a member of Union Baptist Church, the AARP and was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, Roy I. Parker, Sr.; brother, Carlyle G. Campbell; and two sisters, Myra Ray and Norma Height.

Survivors include her two sons, Roy I. Parker, Jr. of El Dorado, Bill Parker (Marilyn) of Wasilla, Ark.; daughter, Dianne Hyden (Jim) of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Clint Aguiar (Angie) of Little Rock, B.J. Aguiar of Little Rock, Terry Parker (Stephanie) of Wollstein, Germany, Katherine Wight (Robert) of Santa Fe, N.M.; two great-grandchildren; three special nephews, “the Campbell boys”, Dallas (Sharon) of Broken Bow, Okla., Larry (Cherrie) of Winter Park, Colo., Ron (Linda) of Moore, Okla.; and she was preceded in death by the fourth “Campbell boy”, Robert.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Young’s Funeral Directors in El Dorado, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Union Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Marysville Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

The family wishes to thank her nurse practitioner, Patti Rivers and staff for their loving and compassionate care, and Cheryl Martinez and Ida Scott for the care of our mother in her final days.
