ANTHONY WILLIAM “SKIP” LIPSMEYER,

-

63, of Jacksonville, passed into the loving arms of his Savior on Monday, September 27, 2021. He was born November 10, 1957, in Little Rock, Ark., to Anthony William and Bernice Elizabeth Raggio Lipsmeyer.

Skip was the type of man that everyone loved and appreciated if they had the opportunity to know him. His friendly words, outgoing personality, and desire to help others were the essence of his character and he showed that through loving his family and never meeting a stranger when it came to time spent and conversations had with his friends and anyone he met. Skip was an outstanding pool player, and loved playing just as much as he loved winning. Working outside, fried catfish, Coca-Cola, and long-cut wintergreen Grizzly tobacco were things that were at the top of the list of simple pleasures, as was cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys. He held many titles, but he was a most treasured brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed, but his memory will be cherished and his legacy will continue through those who loved and cared for him.

Skip was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, Michael Lipsmeyer; brother, Thomas Lipsmeyer; nephew, William Chase Lipsmeyer; niece, Ashley Lipsmeyer; his girlfriend, Mary Moore, and many other extended family members and friends.
