ROLESVILLE, N.C. — On September 23, 2021, Lynda Sue Keys,

75, took her place on the risers of Heaven’s choir.

Those who had a chance to know her have been blessed.

Lynda was full of life, always welcoming and accepting, and eager to meet new friends. Like her father, she never met a stranger. She would tell stories and jokes to anyone who would listen. Her support was limitless and generous, from lending an ear to offering advice or giving a hug in times of need.

Funeral services to celebrate Lynda’s life will be held at 2 o’clock, Thursday October 7, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church, 4815 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC.

Lynda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dr. Robert Keys; her three beautiful daughters, Robyn Keys, Meredith (Jamie) Manning, and Kerri (Ricky) Rudd; five grandchild­ren Mark Evan Rose, Patrick, William, and Mary Manning, and Matthew Rudd; one brother, Leslie Price; two sisters, Doris Price and Denise Murphree; along with countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Edith and Muncie Price Sr.; her brother, Muncie Price Jr.; and a granddaugh­ter, Avery Rudd. Lynda’s legacy can be heard in the blended harmonies of barbershop, as she was a lifelong member of the Sweet Adelines Internatio­nal community.
