77, went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 15, 2021, at Baptist Health in Little Rock, surrounded by his loving family. Terry was born February 1, 1944, in England, Ark., to Luther Franklin and Bessie Ellen Archer. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Elder Robert F. Archer, Paul Thomas “Uncle Honey” Archer, Mike Archer, and sister Jackie Jean Archer. He is survived by his wife Marie of 57 years and daughter Nicole L. Harris (Nathan), his two precious granddaugh­ters, Annie and Hallie of Little Rock, sister Pat Sanders of North Little Rock, and brother SC Archer of Mabelvale; six nieces and five nephews. In addition to his immediate family, Terry is survived by a host of loving family and friends that he touched in his special life. Terry graduated from Little Rock Central in 1962, then he served in the US Army. He has worked as a draftsman, a car salesman and an insurance salesman; and he opened a fiberglass business and a security business (Archer Integrated Systems). He was most recently working with PUC/ AR Children. Terry was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and he served as a deacon at Central Baptist Church; he was also a Gideon. Terry felt very blessed to have the opportunit­y to travel on many mission trips; he was blessed to visit Africa, Peru, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and Paraguay. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Baptist Health ICU 4 South for their kindness and compassion during Terry’s stay. There will be a memorial service held for Terry at 3 o’clock, Monday, November 22, in the Chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church. Interment of cremains will be held on December 21, 2021 at 1 o’clock, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
