SHERIDAN — Larenda Beckwith Davis,

-

of Sheridan, Ark., was born December 12, 1963, at San Bernardino, California, the daughter of the late Larry and Brenda Quinlivan Beckwith.

Larenda had a smile as big as her heart. She genuinely loved people, and had a servant’s heart. Every day she counted it a joy to work alongside her husband Jerry at Sheridan Excavating, or one their family businesses. They were the best of friends, and were still just as much in love as they were on their wedding day 39 years ago. She enjoyed her horses, and spending time at their lake house with the family. One of the things she enjoyed the most were the get-togethers with family and friends. The more people gathered, the happier she’d be. She rarely would sit down to eat on those special days, but smile the whole time as she made sure everyone else had everything they needed. No doubt, the only one with a bigger smile than Larenda, was her son J.T., when he saw her enter those heavenly gates looking for him. Mrs. Davis died Friday, November 12, 2021, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, at the age of 57. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, J.T. Davis and a brother, Clint Beckwith. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Davis; son, Dakota Harp; daughter, Cheyanne Harp; brother, Johnny Beckwith (Angie), all of Sheridan. She is also survived by a large number of extended family, both by blood and by choice.
