ROSE BUD — Marie Vonceia Campbell Snider,

85, of Rose Bud, Ark., passed away on November 16, 2021. She was born on February 29, 1936, in Gorman, Texas, to Collin and Hazel Campbell.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, George Kenneth Snider.

Vonceia is survived by her four children, Audrey Humphreys (Chris) of Guthrie, OK, James Snider (Melinda) of Rose Bud, Ark., Linda Archer (Charlie) of Arkadelphi­a, Ark., and Julie Ramsey (Scott) of Fayettevil­le, Ark. She had eleven grandchild­ren, Alyssa Roper (Chris), Christa Humphreys (Dylan), Brianne Humphreys, Rose Whitley (Andrew), Mallory Green, Macie Snider, Trey Turner, Isaac Turner, Aidan Ramsey, Braden Archer, and Mason Archer. She had three great-grandchild­ren, Avi and Guthrie Green and Sadie Roper. She has three sisters, Reba Reeves of Ft. Worth, Texas, Colleen Lamb of Cisco, Texas, and Addie Walker also of Cisco, Texas. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

She worked as a school teacher and retired as postmaster of Rose Bud, Ark. She was a long time member of Rose Bud First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for years. She loved flowers and birds, and working in her yard brought her great joy. She enjoyed her annual sister week in Texas and big get-togethers with her family where she won many games of dominoes.

Visitation will be at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy on Friday, November 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be at Rose Bud First Baptist Church at 1 p.m., on Saturday, November 20.
