REV HAROLD M. COLE,

78, of Jacksonvil­le, a retired minister and video production technician, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, Sunday, November 21, 2021. He was born October 23, 1943, son of the late Lonnie “Dick” and Elsie Cole of Cabot. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette R. Cole and grandchild, Leslie A. Powell.

Rev. Harold was the previous Pastor of Mount Springs Baptist Church, Brownsvill­e Baptist Church, and Second Baptist church. He graduated Draughan’s Business College with a technical degree and received his Associate’s degree in business from ASU Beebe. Harold was a video production technician and salesman for Panasonic and many more video production companies before retiring from Crescent Communicat­ions in 2011. In his spare time, Harold enjoyed gardening, restoring old vehicles, and politics. He was a great man and a great friend to many.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Charlotte Y. Cole; his son, Harold E. Cole and his daughterin-law, Razel Z. Cole of Jacksonvil­le; his siblings, Jerry E. Cole of Cabot, and Robin D. Standridge of Greers Ferry; his two grandchild­ren, Dakota M. Cole of Little Rock and Paulina Charlotte Z. Cole of Jacksonvil­le; and his great-grandchild, Ethan Powell of Pensacola Florida.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, November 29, 2021 at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Barham of Jubilee Church Int. of Maumelle and Rev. Stubby Stumbaugh of Cabot officiatin­g. Graveside service will follow at Mount Pleasant cemetery in Cabot. A visitation will be the evening prior, Sunday, November 28, 2021, from 5-7 p.m., at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home.
