BALD KNOB — Donald Thomas McCluskey,

was born March 9, 1962, to Betty and Billy McCluskey. Donnie graduated Brinkley High School in 1980.

Shortly after graduation, he began his career as a deckhand on “The Ginny Stone” for ARTCO/ADM. After 39 years, he retired as Captain of “The Ginny Stone”. Donnie worked hard to provide for his family and he was always quick to help anyone who needed it. He was a man that always stepped up or stepped in. During his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandson. He was the best “Poppy” to those babies and they knew anything they wanted; Poppy made sure they’d get it. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and working on projects around the house and of course, spending time with the love of his life. Donnie woke up in the arms of God on November 24, 2021, at the age of 59 years old. Those left behind to cherish his love and memory are: Wife, Tracy, Son Clint McCluskey and wife Emilee, daughters, Michelle Harlin and husband Carl, Dixie Evans and husband Brad, and Carly McCluskey; Grandchildren: Madison Skinner, Eli Skinner, MaScotcha McCluskey, Natalie Evans and Carly Adams; great-grandchild, Jude Verrell; brother, Kim (Pam) McCuskey; sister, Denise Files and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Coe and parents, Betty and Billy McCluskey.
