Beloved son, husband, brother and friend to all. JERRY ALEXANDER SCOTT,

born December 27, 1960, passed from this life into the hands of the Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2021. He was 60 years old and the son of Franklin and Shirley Scott of Jacksonvil­le, Ark.

Jerry launched a life-long career at the Air Force Base Commissary that allowed him to do what he loved most - serve others and broadcast kindness to everyone that he met. Jerry worked for 40 years at the Little Rock Air Force Base Commissary, serving and assisting military families with their everyday needs, as Head Bagger during the week, and Stock Manager from Thursday through Saturday.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Ju Hee Scott; his daughter, Kimberly Simcox; and his sisters, Patricia Scott and Daphne Scott.

From our hearts, the family would like to thank Dr. Omer Khalil and his dedicated and exceptiona­l team at the CARTI Cancer Center in North Little Rock who took care of Jerry for four years; Hospice Home Care who cared for Jerry for two years; and the team of doctors, specialist­s, technician­s, and assistants at Springhill Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock who cared for Jerry in the last days of his life.

A viewing will be Friday, December 3, 2021, at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home in Jacksonvil­le from 5-7 p.m. All are welcome to attend the viewing following COVID restrictio­ns and policies for the funeral home. Because of COVID and ongoing concerns around safety, a private funeral service is also being held this weekend. Thank you to everyone who is a friend of Jerry, and shared in his life and love for over 50 years in his home community of Jacksonvil­le, Ark.
