MALVERN — Lillian Frances Jackson,

age 87, of Malvern, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2021. Frances was born June 11, 1934, in Willow, Arkansas, to the late Lewis Nantze and Callie Bane Nantze. Frances married

Wayne C. Jackson on December 24, 1949, and they enjoyed 60 great years of marriage together. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2010. In addition to being a homemaker, Frances, along with Wayne, successfully ran several businesses, including two restaurants: Jackson’s Old Spring House, and The Sand’s. Frances was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Even in her retirement she continued cooking for the church fish fry for many years. Frances found purpose in feeding and caring for others and all her friends and family knew the joy that cooking and caring for those around her brought to her life.

Frances leaves behind two daughters, Gloria Wright and her husband Jimmy of Malvern, and Retha Cline and her husband Rick of Springdale, Ark.; her grandchildren, Ashley and David Hopkins, Jotham Wright and Kristen Qandah, Brooke and Jimmy Moore, Randi and Daniel Green, Jackson and Tara Cline. Frances also leaves behind four great-grandchildren, Houston and William Hopkins, and Callie and Hudson Green.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, December 11, 2021, at one o’clock in the sanctuary of St. Paul United Methodist Church with Reverend Andrew Orr and Reverend Bryan Diffee officiating and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home. Interment will be in Cypress Cemetery at Willow.
