Gil Anderson, 62, of White Hall, was a hard-working, loving family man who had a great sense of humor, loved riding his motorcycle and enjoyed shooting his guns with his sons and grandkids. He passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

Born Charles Gil Anderson March 6, 1959, in Kennett, Mo., he was the son of Charles and Betty Bogle Anderson.

Gil was reared and received his early education in White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School in 1977. He earned his welding certificat­e from Pines Vocational School and later his EMT license.

He worked as an EMT for three years, and for the Arkansas Department of Correction­s for two years, before working at Central Moloney as a Quality Control Inspector. He worked most recently as a production manager at SafeFoods in Little Rock.

Gil was a member of Central Baptist Church for many years. In recent years he attended New Life Church in Pine Bluff. He loved his family and rarely missed family events, from ballgames to graduation­s. He also loved his greenhouse.

Gil was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Roberts Anderson.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Mouton Anderson, whom he married December 21, 2007, in Pine Bluff; sons, Charles Dustin “Dusty” Anderson (Anjuli), Samuel James Anderson (Hannah), Patrick Mouton (Whitney), Greg Mouton (Heather), and Michael Mouton; sister, Kim Cox (Greg); grandchild­ren, Tenley Anderson, Taya Anderson, Bryson Anderson, Calianne Anderson, Lawson Mouton, Deacon Mouton, Asher Mouton, Sutton Mouton, Meritt Mouton, and Madden Mouton.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Terry Milburn officiatin­g. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel.
