ONGOING Maumelle Newcomers Club Scholarship
MAUMELLE — Applications are being accepted for the Maumelle Newcomers Club $1,000 Scholarship. Applicants must be a resident of Maumelle or the immediate family member of a Maumelle Newcomers Club member; not be the recipient of a full scholarship from another source; be attending or planning to attend an accredited institution full or part time; and have an accumulative grade-point average of at least 2.5. Students may reapply for the scholarship each year of their schooling. Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing
CONWAY — The Conway Regional Health System has opened two drive-thru COVID-19 testing locations. The Conway Regional After Hours Clinic, 437 Denison St., will be open from 1-9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The Conway Regional Hendrix Medical Clinic, 1700 Altus St., Suite 110, will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Individuals can meet with a provider for symptom evaluation while remaining in their vehicles

NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Veterans Villages Helping Hand Program Food Pantry, 8325 MacArthur Drive, serves all veterans, as well as activeduty, Guard and Reserve service members and their families, in Faulkner and Perry counties. The food pantry will be open from 8 a.m. to noon every other Wednesday, including Jan. 26 and Feb. 9. MORRILTON — The Conway County Care Center’s food pantry, at 108 W. Broadway, is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays. Residents of Conway County may visit the pantry once a month to take home free supplemental food, regardless of household income. The center also operates a thrift store, where clothes and household items are available at a low cost, or free when there is an immediate need. RUSSELLVILLE — The Arkansas Tech Small Business and Technology Development Center will present a webinar titled Counterfeit Money Awareness and Cash Handling from 10-11 a.m. Feb. 9. Topics include how to identify counterfeit money, what actions to take to avoid quickchange artists, and how to be more efficient and accurate when handling cash. Sacred Heart School Trivia Night
MORRILTON — After a one-year hiatus as a result of COVID-19 concerns, Sacred Heart School will have its eighth annual Trivia Night fundraiser, hosted by Roger Scott from 103.7 The Buzz, on Feb. 12 in the Sacred Heart gym/Ruff Auditorium. Guests will be treated to dinner from Elia’s Mexican Grill, as well as complimentary beverages throughout the evening. The only trivia category revealed in advance of the event is Popes of the 20th Century, chosen by the previous winning team. Prizes will be awarded for Best Team Name, Best Table Decorations and Best Costume.
