GLEN EDWARD MILHOLLAND,

-

62, was born on January 5, 1960, in Little Rock, Ark., to Clarence and Alma Dean Milholland, and went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2022.

He attended Sylvan Hills High School class of 1978 and retired (disabled) in 2013 from the City of Sherwood as the Parks Maintenance Superintendent after 30+ years of employment. He enjoyed building gazebos, structures and bridges in multiple parks, and at the Sherwood baseball complex. He and his staff maintained the city swimming pools and parks, and were responsible for erecting the Trail of Lights enjoyed annually at Christmas by countless families.

His final project before retiring was designing, constructing, and installing the walking bridge over the pond at city hall. His initials are signed in the concrete on the bridge as well as multiple projects throughout the city.

He was multi-talented, artistic, could build or fix anything and excelled at every hobby he decided to take on (and there were many!)

He was a member of Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock, where he built elaborate Vacation Bible School sets every year. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, Mia.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Alma Dean Milholland. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Laurie (Tindle) Milholland of Sherwood; children, Dustin (Danica) Milholland of Little Rock, Jeffrey (Kyla) Milholland of Morrilton, and Sarah (Justin) Welborn of Conway; grandchildren, Mia Milholland, Britlyn, and Evan Wilson, and two on the way, Micah Welborn (coming in March) and baby Milholland (coming in August); sister, Judy King of Cabot; lifelong best friend, Kasey (Tina) Worrell of Sherwood; father and mother-in-law, Mel and Elaine Tindle of Cabot; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday February 11th, 10-11:30 a.m., at the Central Baptist Church, 5200 Fairway Ave., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116, where funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
