She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Lillian Landrum; four brothers, Tom Jr., Jake, Earnest, and Glenn; sister, Ruby Mae Landrum Broadbooks Melenson; and her husband, Henry Roland Herrod.

She is survived by her siblings, Geneva Deck and Anthony (Judy) Landrum; daughter, Reba (Terry) Rollans; son, Donald Herrod (Christine Howard); grandchildren, Terry (Taylor) Rollans Jr., Sabrina (Cody) Jones, Trinity Herrod, Kylie Howard; great-grandson, James Jones; and a host of extended family and friends.

For as many of you who knew mom, probably didn’t know that she had become a “foodie” over the past year and a half. She enjoyed cooking, however she did not get to eat out as much as she would have liked. Upon dad’s passing, she insisted that we eat out every day. I think we visited every restaurant in the Little Rock metro at least once. She knew exactly where to go to get whatever she had a taste for that day.

Besides eating, she enjoyed her fur babies as much if not more. She would always refer to them as mine and Donald’s sibling. She really loved her fur babies.

Mom enjoyed bird watching with Dad. Her favorite bird, “Woody”, a pleated woodpecker, would delight her day when he would come through and have lunch with them. Mom also liked to fish. She had her druthers though to leave the fishing to us and the sampling to her.

Mom was a gentle soul. She had the sweetest smile that would warm your heart. We will miss her so.
