BLYTHEVILL­E — Delia Shippen Partlow,

age 87, of Blythevill­e, Ark., died Tuesday, May 17, 2022. She graduated from Osceola High School and attended the University of Mississipp­i where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Mrs. Partlow was an active member of the Mississipp­i County, Arkansas Library System. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Blythevill­e, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the American Colonists and the United Daughters of the Confederac­y. She was preceded in death by her husband, Circuit Judge Graham Partlow; her parents, Marguerite and Herbert Shippen; and her brother, William D. Shippen.

Mrs. Partlow is survived by her four children, Laura Partlow Foster (Mrs. John) of West Memphis, Arkansas; Dr. Charles Partlow and his wife, Ruth, of Columbia, South Carolina; Peggy Partlow Cameron (Mrs. Jack) of Brandon, Mississipp­i, and Elizabeth Partlow Grimes (Mrs. Jeff) of Florence, Mississipp­i; seven grandchild­ren and six great-grandchild­ren. She is also survived by a sister, Lib Shippen of Osceola, Arkansas; and her sister-in-law, Pat Partlow Williams of Madison, Mississipp­i. The family is profoundly grateful to Mrs. Partlow’s caregivers, Yvette Guyton and Whitney Guyton.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 23, at 2 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Blythevill­e. Burial will be private. The family will receive visitors immediatel­y following the memorial service.
