GREGORY CHARLES MCGHEE, SR.,

was born to Wille and Ruthie McGhee in Talladega, Ala., on March 22, 1959. He spent his childhood with his grandparen­ts in Cincinnati, Ohio, and upon high school graduation joined the United States Air Force. Greg spent 17 years in service, retiring as a Tech Sergeant; After which he took up a career in industrial work and spent his spare time repairing electronic­s, fishing, grilling, and delighted in studying wealth management. Greg was blessed with a large and loving family being the firstborn of four brothers and four sisters. He married the love of his life, Angelia Jacobs on September 17, 1983, in Pass Christian, Miss. He leaves a legacy through his three children and three grandsons. Greg was a provider and family man with a wonderful sense of humor and contagious smile.

Greg passed on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. He is survived by his Wife, Angelia McGhee; His sons, Jason Jacobs (Sandee) and Gregory Charles McGhee Jr.; his daughter, Celisha Yongo (Jean); his grandchild­ren, Jalen Jacobs, Jayden Jacobs, and Jean Alexander Yongo; his brothers, Ronald McGhee (Rebecca), Willie McGhee (Trisha), Alexander McGhee (Tammy) and Kevin McGhee, his sisters, Susie Harold, Kimberly Cunningham (Terry), Regena Pickens (Antone), and Melony McGhee (Maurice); and his father Willie C. McGhee. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruthie McGhee.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, May 27, 2022, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72117. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. A committal service with full Military Honors will be held Friday, May 27, 2022, at 12 p.m., at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72120.
