90, of El Dorado passed away, Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

Born March 27, 1932 in Junction City, Ark., he was the son of James W. and Lena Mae Roberson Cook.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Gerald Cook.

Mr. Cook was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He proudly served 31 years in the United States Army and Army Reserves, where he retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. He worked for 42 years at the National Bank of Commerce, where he served in many positions including President, CEO and Chairman of the Board.

Survivors include his wife Patsy Cook, two sons, Mark Cook (Tammy) and Keith Cook (Lynnette) all of El Dorado and a daughter, Donna Drevdahl (John) of Loveland, Colo. Surviving grandchild­ren are Andrew Cook, Matthew Cook, Jonathan Swarek, Eric Lee and Alex Lee and great-grandchild­ren, Spencer Lee and Grace Swarek and an expected great-grandson in August.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 6, from 5-7 p.m. at Young’s. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. David Ruehr officiatin­g. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
