CHARLES GRIFFITH “GRIFF” KEYES,

78, went to his Heavenly home Friday, June 10, 2022.

He was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfathe­r, and a Christian. Griff was born February 14, 1944, in Little Rock, Ark.

He grew up in Scott, Ark., spending many days in and on Old River. He attended Forest Heights Junior High and graduated from Hall High School in 1962. He lettered in football and track, specializi­ng in shotput and discus, while in college. He attended the University of Arkansas where he pledged SAE. Griff graduated from Southweste­rn (now Rhodes) in Memphis. After graduation, he began a career in finance and worked for A.G. Edwards & Sons for many years. Griff was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsma­n.

Griff was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Marjorie Rainwater Keyes Thalheimer Smith; and father Stanley M. Keyes; two admired stepfather­s, Bruce Thalheimer and Douglas Smith; grandmothe­r, Lula Burrow Graves; and grandfathe­r Cloud Night Rainwater.

Griff is survived by his wife, Kenan Jones Keyes; two children, Mary Margaret and Morgan (Jennifer); his two grandchild­ren, Elizabeth Anne and McCall; his brother, Cloud Keyes (Nancy); his niece, Kristin; and nephews Night and John.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 19th, 5-7 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held Monday, June 20th, 2 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72224. Service will be streamed on Fbcar.org/chapel
