Key Fletcher

-

■ DATE OF BIRTH AND PLACE OF BIRTH: Oct. 9, 1980, New Orleans

■ MY FAVORITE MOVIE IS: “The Color Purple.”

■ MY PERSONAL MOTTO IS: I have the DNA of a winner. Everything and everyone around me will win. Team Fletcher can do anything.

■ IF I WASN’T IN MY CURRENT JOB, I WOULD BE: Focusing entirely on my other business Keyfit Life. I’m pretty passionate about health and wellness. I love helping people reach their personal wellness goals.

■ THE ONE THING I KNOW TO BE TRUE ABOUT ALL PEOPLE IS: Each of us is one of a kind and created with a skill or gift that is meant to help someone else. We need each other.

■ THE BEST ADVICE YOU EVER GOT WAS FROM: My dad. He always said “Just keep living,” and as an adult, I now totally get it. You always get more along the way. Nothing is ever fully revealed in the moment.

■ MY PERFECT SATURDAY MUST INCLUDE: An amazing workout, spending time with my family, dessert and a nap.

■ MY GUILTY PLEASURE IS: Staying in my robe all day.

■ ONE THING I’D CHANGE ABOUT MYSELF IS: My voice. I wish I could sing.

■ A HIDDEN TALENT I HAVE THAT NOT MANY KNOW ABOUT IS: I’m double jointed. I’m not sure if that’s a talent, but it’s pretty cool.

■ MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT IS: Raising my 10-year-old daughter. Being a parent is the toughest job ever. There is no manual. Everyday, I work at being better. She is my mini me and a reflection of God’s love for me. She teaches me more about myself than anything else I’ve ever done.

■ IF I COULD HAVE DINNER WITH ANYONE, LIVING OR DEAD, IT WOULD BE: My mom, Alberta Miller. I lost her last year due to covid. She was one of my best friends. I feel I lost her way too soon. We would have so much to catch up on.

■ MY FAVORITE QUOTE: It’s not our job to adjust the light. It’s our job to walk into the darkness and shadows and be the light. It’s my own quote and I like it because it reminds me that new and unfamiliar places of uncertainty are opportunities for growth. Even if it feels scary, to do it anyway!

■ THE WORD THAT BEST DESCRIBES ME IS: Passionate
