CABOT — Joshua Steven Greer,

-

38, of Cabot, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Josh was born to Steve and Kenna Greer on September 25, 1983, in Little Rock, Ark.

He graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2002 and went on to receive his associate degree in diesel mechanics from Nashville Auto Diesel College.

Josh worked in this field until he was no longer able to. He loved WWE, concerts, Gas Monkey Garage, Ancient Aliens, Judge Judy, and being “Uncle Josh” to his seven nieces and nephews, who loved him fiercely.

Josh loved tailgating at Razorback games with his best friend, Jason, and he especially enjoyed whatever Jason had going on the grill. Josh courageously fought a long hard battle with mitochondrial disease. He never gave up and even in his weakest moments he would warrior on with humor, a positive attitude, brave heart and conquering spirit. He made everyone a priority and would power through the pain to always be present. Josh was fearless.

Josh leaves behind his parents, Steve and Kenna Greer; siblings, Jared Greer (Sarah), Jordan Greer (Corie), Bethany Suarez (Matthew), and Rose Moyster (Bruce); grandfather, Bill Greer (Pat); grandfather, Kenneth Tipton; grandmother, Nell Zarro; nieces and nephews, Bennett, Scarlett, Elliott, Olivia, Dawson, Savvy, and Brooks. He was especially close to his cousin, Erin, who was his lifelong best friend. Josh was loved by so many more.

Josh is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Tipton.

A celebration of life for Josh and all the gifts he shared with us will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 2 p.m. at A Natural State Funeral Service; 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Ark. 72076.
