32, left this reality on June 22, 2022. He was also known as Brett Khullar and Brett Slammin. Brett was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., on February 27, 1990, and later lived in Little Rock, Maumelle, and North Little Rock. Schools he attended were Pulaski Heights, Children’s House Montessori, Crystal Hill, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and North Little Rock High. Natural State Genomics, a Covid testing laboratory, was his last employer. He worked in Specimen Receiving/Accessioni­ng and loved his job, his family and friends, his dog Caesar, and his music.

The enjoyment, creation, and promotion of Slam Death Metal Music was overwhelmi­ngly the focus of his life. His bands were Burning Nursery, Slamphetam­ine, and B-Slammin, a oneman band where he performed guitar, vocals, and drum machine. Record Labels he worked with are FTA Recordz and Caustic Hymn Production­s. His music can also be found on Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Reverbnati­on, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.

Brett founded Arkansas Death Metal (ARDM) on Facebook, using it to share bands and to promote and book death metal shows. He was well-known for this and for his unique guitar style with pinch harmonics. Brett’s love of the genre had no limits and reached worldwide. Brett had a gentle, sweet soul and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and fans.

Survivors include parents, Terri and John Henderson of NLR; sister and nephew, Stephanie Poposky and Jaxon Ryan of NLR; grandparen­ts, Jack and Kay Wilson of Maumelle; uncle, aunt, and niece, Jack, Cheryl, and Mila Wilson of Little Rock;, and the Poposky Family.
