74, of Little Rock, passed away October 22, 2022, with her family by her side. Joyce was born in Maui, Hawaii, November 8, 1947, to the late Charles and Eva Byrd. She graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1965.

Joyce was married to W. Ben Wyatt on November 23, 1974, in Little Rock, Ark. She is survived by her husband, Ben; her son, Benjamin (Brooke); her son, Jonathan (Haley); her grandchild­ren, Macy, Ava, Presley, Hayden, Landon, Keeley, Aubrey and Sam. She is also survived by her sister, Pattee Clark; sister, Diana McLemore (Bill); brother, Charles Byrd; and many nephews and nieces, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Joyce retired from the Little Rock School District in 2002, was a committed and long-time member of Agape Church and will be remembered as one who prayed fervently, served unconditio­nally, and pursued Christ endlessly. Joyce had a contagious smile and was an unbelievab­le wife, mother, grandmothe­r and friend.

Joyce found great joy in taking care of her family. She loved hosting gatherings, cooking, reminiscin­g, and playing with her grandchild­ren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joyce’s name to Acts Ministries (P.O. Box 23716, Little Rock, Ark., 72221).
