WILLIS CHARLES HUFFMAN,

-

88, of Sherwood passed away February 13, 2023. He was born November 13, 1934, in Amboy, Ark., to the late Whitfield Charles Huffman and the late Iva Mae Magnus Huffman.

Willis served in the Army National Guard 42 years and retired as a Sergeant Major. He loved his family and friends and he lived with an open-door policy – all were welcome anytime. Willis was preceded in death by his wife, the mother of his children, Loeta Knight Huffman; their infant daughter, Tracy Huffman; a granddaughter, Angela Dunaway; and his sisters: Cora Lee Kemp and Betty Jean Houston.

Survivors include his second wife, Joan Huffman; daughters: Rhonda Bentley (Steve) and Sharon Bryant (Kenny); grandsons: Kevin Bentley, Jack Charles Garrison, and Eric Charles Bentley (Kaylie); great-grandchildren: Bentley Davis, Amelia Davis and Rory Charles Bentley; and his brother Mickey Huffman (Robbie).
