(87), of Rose Bud, Ark., passed from this life on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at his home. He was born August 26, 1935, in Cow Lake, Ark., to the late Donald and Lillian McFadden.

Ray McFadden was a much loved husband, father, and grandfathe­r. He was a hard worker and was known as a successful businessma­n. He had many business ventures in his lifetime. Ray was the owner and founder of Big Mac Mobile Homes in Sherwood, Ark. He later opened “The Rambler Café” in Rose Bud, Ark. He enjoyed outdoor activities, especially those involving his family. Throughout his life, he enjoyed traveling with his wife of 61 years, Lucy Jean McFadden, until her passing in 2014. His family and friends will remember his sense of humor and love of life. Ray will be missed by all those who were honored to know him.

He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda (David) Garrard, Cheryl (Steve) Sorensen, Karen (Keith) Schaedig, and Teressa (Todd) Lancaster; grandchild­ren, Shannon Shearer, Courtney Garrard, Brandy (Vince) Day, Cody Ray Schaedig, Sawyer (Mason) Gibbons, Markie (Nate) Alberius, Tollie (Trey) Stinnett, Taylor (Ben) May, and Tristin Lancaster; great-grandchild­ren, Carson Lucena, McKenna Shearer, Cale Day, Colton Day, Lucy May, Stella Ray May, Scottie May, Paxton Gibbons, Sutton Gibbons, and Sebastian Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Lillian McFadden; his wife, Lucy Jean McFadden; and sister, Fannie Lee French.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 12 p.m. at Rose Bud Church of Christ in Rose Bud, Ark., with Brother Phillip Thomas officiatin­g. Visitation will be held prior to services from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Interment will be in the Rose Bud Cemetery.
