CLASS 4A LONOKE 15, GRAVETTE 2
Another dominating performance on the mound propelled Lonoke (28-2) to a blowout and a spot in the Class 4A state baseball final.
Jaxon Ingle gave up 2 hits and walked 3 while striking out 7 in 4 innings for the Jackrabbits. Cole Spears, who hit two home runs, came on relief and struck out two batters to finish things off. Steele Eaves also blasted a home run while Drake Aycock, Jonathon Lewis and Wyatt Rippeto all had two hits each in the win.
ASHDOWN 17, BROOKLAND 2
Seven runs in the first inning gave Ashdown (18-11) the lift it needed to blow past the Bearcats in the semifinals. Grayson Porter and Derek Hilton were both a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate for the Panthers, who banged out 15 hits in the game. Nash Brown, Caleb Blankenship and Mason Washington added two hits each, with Washington also driving in five runs.

RIVERCREST 7, CENTRAL ARKANSAS CHRISTIAN 0
Connor Vaughn went 2 for 3 with 4 runs batted in to power Rivercrest (21-3) to a shutout and into the title game. Jaxon Kilburn pitched a complete game, allowing 5 hits and striking out 3 in 7 innings for the Colts, who’ll face two-time defending champion Harding Academy on Saturday.
