CONWAY — Cynthia Agnes Harrell Brown

departed this life on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the age of eighty five. She was born August 11, 1937 in Wye, Ark., to the Reverend D.R. Harrell and Mrs. Linnea Nelson Harrell, the second of four children. She was a 1957 graduate of Central High School. Cynthia was an accomplish­ed artist and musician. She had a deep appreciati­on for beauty and loved creating paintings and sculptures, and curating the treasures she acquired over the years. Cynthia loved animals of all kinds, but especially dogs and horses. She was known for her talent for thoughtful gift-giving, finding joy in showing her love for others, especially her children and grandchild­ren. She was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed studying Bible prophecy, always looking forward to Christ’s return. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Crystal Taylor.

She is survived by her children, Karen Brown Ratliff of Conway, Rev. David Brown (Denise) of McGehee, Linnea Brown Udochi of Conway, and William Brown of Centerton; brothers Arthur Harrell of Morrilton, Gary Harrell of Conway, and David Harrell of Oregon; 16 grandchild­ren, 22 great-grandchild­ren, and three great-great grandchild­ren. A graveside service will be held at Wye Cemetery in Wye, Ark. on Saturday, May 19, 2023 at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Brown officiatin­g. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the cemetery.
