BRISON MANOR, JR.,

70, of Sherwood, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. He was born on August 10, 1952, in Bridgeton, N.J. to the late Katie Mae Coombs Manor and Brison Manor, Sr. Brison excelled in both football and wrestling at Bridgeton High School. After High School he spent two yearsat Pratt Community College in Kansas, then, accepted a scholarshi­p to play defense for Frank Broyles at the University of Arkansas. Brison was drafted as a defensive end by the New York Jets in 1975 but was released after pre-season. The NFL called again, and he signed with the Denver Broncos in 1977. In Denver, he was a part of the world-renowned Orange Crush Defense, which played in Super Bowl XII. Brison had a stellar 10year NFL football career. After retiring from the NFL, he began working at One Moore Ford, before entering the investment banking field as a Securities Broker. He worked for various Securities firms in Arkansas for 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Katie Green Hawkins and Darlene Manor; brother Joseph Green. He leaves to carry on his life and legacy, his wife of 47 years DeLois Arnold Manor; daughter Neva Manor Hartley (Terrance); son Brison Manor, III (Leah); granddaugh­ter Mackenzie Hartley; brother James Green; sister Dorothy Murphy, brother-in-law Phillip Arnold, Jr. (Joyce) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, church members, associates and friends.

A public Memorial Service will be held on July 1, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Museum, Simmons Bank Arena, North Little Rock, Ark. Services entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 2704 Commerce Circle, Pine Bluff, Ark. 71601.
