POTTSVILLE — Kenneth Lynn “Ken” Latham,

a witty and adventurou­s soul, was born on August 30, 1964, in Little Rock, Ark, and lived a life full of love and laughter. He passed away on June 26, 2023, in Russellvil­le. He will always be remembered for his loyalty and love for his family, friends, and all things Disney.

Ken’s adventurou­s spirit was evident in his hobbies, which included fishing, brewing and drinking beer, and always planning the next family adventure. He lived by the Walt Disney quote, “When you’re curious, you find lots of interestin­g things to do.”

As a loving husband and father, he cherished his family above all else. He married Elizabeth Walker on June 3, 1989. After starting their family they welcomed their child, Han Latham, with great joy. Ken’s loyal nature extended to his work, where he worked across the state as a manufactur­ing engineer in automation and robotics and he was currently working as an engineer for Arkansas Nuclear One. Ken will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Beth Latham of Pottsville; his child, Han Latham of Fayettevil­le; brother, Craig Latham and wife Tammy of Russellvil­le; sister, Billie Elliot and husband Rick of Russellvil­le; nephews, David Latham and wife Chel of Florida, Chris Elliott and wife Hillary of Van Buren, and Kevin Elliott and wife Kristen of Springdale; and numerous great-nieces and a great-nephew.

Memorial service will be held at 10 AM, Friday, June 30, 2023 at Pottsville United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Pottsville United Methodist or cocooncoll­ective.org.
