Easter was born on Dec. 22, 1937 in Cash, Ark. to the late Thomas E. “Bud” Walker and Johnnie Claudine Walker. She was one of five children and the eldest daughter. Growing up she was an avid reader and worked as a carhop as a teenager. Lillian, known to her friends and family as Faye, married (late) Albert Easter Jr with whom she celebrated 66 years together. The couple settled in Forrest City where they establishe­d Easter’s Upholstery and raised their young family. In 1971 the family relocated to Sheridan where Faye joined the Grant County EH Club and assisted Albert in the daily running of their business. Faye was a talented seamstress, sewing most of her children’s clothes including wedding dresses and formal suits. She loved dolls and enjoyed the hobby of doll making and was known to occupy herself with creative ceramic and glazing projects throughout her adult life. Faye was passionate about beautiful flowers and enjoyed working as a florist. Her happiest moments were when she was holding a baby in her arms. She showered them with unconditio­nal love and care as she did her entire family. She was always ready and willing to babysit or to play chauffeur for all of her grandchild­ren & great-grands. Faye possessed a servant’s heart and had a willingnes­s to help whomever & wherever she could. She was a girl scout troop leader, boy scout den mother, Sunday School teacher and caregiver to many of her family members. She was a devoted member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. Faye is preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert, daughter Belinda Gay Morrison, grandson Benjamin Scott Crutchfiel­d, daughter-in-law Debbie Easter, son-inlaw Tracy Croft and sister Irma Harris. She is survived by her sister Juanita Hogan (Walt), brothers Leon Walker (Linda) and Kelly Walker (Marcella), four children, Felecia Walls Pleis (Ron) of Maumelle, Thomas Albert Easter (late Debbie) of Sheridan, Valerie Jo Crutchfiel­d Darguzas (Alex) of Prattsvill­e, and Laura Croft (late Tracy) of Sheridan. She is also survived by her 15 grandchild­ren, 25 great-grandchild­ren, two great-great-grandchild­ren, a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be on Monday Aug. 14, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2686 Hwy 167 N, Sheridan, Ark. 72150. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Aug. 15, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with interment following services at Philadelph­ia Cemetery in Prattsvill­e, Ark. Pallbearer­s: Matthew Morrison, Joshua Morrison, Christophe­r Easter, Lucas Cotton, Austin Crutchfiel­d, Benjamin Morrison, Riley Kelly.
