CABOT — Lyndia Lee Maness Duncan, 80,

of Cabot, Ark., passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Monday, September 4, 2023. She was born January 29, 1943 in Greensboro, N.C. to the late Burnett G. and Bertha L. Rush Maness. Lyndia was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from the Pulaski County Special School District. Lyndia enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. The family favorites included lasagna, macaroni and cheese, and fudge. She loved decorating for the holidays. Her past-times included watching Hallmark movies, reading magazines, working on word search puzzles, and crafting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Bobby C. Duncan, Sr.; and her sister, Shelby Jean Cooper of Asheboro, N.C.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Roger Maness (Vickie) of Troy, N.C.; her children, Bobby C. Duncan, Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif., Barry Duncan, Sr., (Wanda) of Austin, Ark., Donna Duncan of Cabot, Ark., and Donny Duncan (Tricia) of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandchild­ren, Barry Duncan, Jr. (Lindsey) of Austin, Courtney Duncan of Reno, Nev., Joshua Duncan (Baylee) of Wichita Falls, Texas, Jeremy Duncan (Jules) of Salem, Ore., Daniel Duncan (Ashley) and Dakota Duncan of Cabot, Ark.; great-grandchild­ren, Lindsey, Chael, Hunter, and Grayson; as well as many extended family members and friends. Per her request, a private viewing was held for the family and she was laid to rest at Sumner Cemetery.
