CECIL LLOYD HOUSE, age 91,

-

went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 15, 2023, while resting peacefully at home with many loved ones by his side. He was born on November 8,

1931, in Holly Springs, Ark., to James Lloyd and Mary House, the youngest of seven siblings. He was the only son and enjoyed the caring attention of his sisters. He married the love of his life, Agnes Inez Alexander, and they were together 67 years. He was a gifted trim carpenter, helping to build many homes in the Little Rock area and always took care of the carpentry needs of friends and family. Cecil was a quiet and smart man, who enjoyed visiting with his many friends and making new ones. But foremost, he loved his whole family, and they all enjoyed his company and respected his example of a life well lived. He also acquired the skill of fiddle playing during his retirement. He was a faithful member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church for 60 years. He is survived by his son, Dennis (Rhonda) House of The Villages, Fla.; and daughter, Laura (Eric) Spangler of Bryant, Ark.; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a whole host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, his daughter, Cecilia Rounsavall; his parents, and all of his sisters. The family wishes to extend its gratitude and great respect to his loyal care givers; granddaughter, Jessica Shoptaw, great-niece, Shelley George, and Chris Johnson. Because of them, he was able to remain in the home he loved and passed in peace.
