Laura Jane Bonds and Scott David Melton are engaged to be married Nov. 4 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Little Rock.
She is the daughter of Barbara and Steve Bonds of North Little Rock and the granddaughter of the late Helen and Dr. Arlee Pollard and the late Kathleen and Bryan Bonds. She is a graduate of Rhodes College, Memphis, with a bachelor’s degree in history and is employed as an adviser in innovation communications and strategy at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis.
He is the son of Jan and David Melton of Jackson, Tenn., and the grandson of Mary Jo and the late James Scott Jr. and the late Jane and Glendell Melton. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications and is an account executive at Archer in Memphis.
Lilly Jones and Alex Bernauer plan to wed Oct. 14 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Little Rock.
She is the daughter of Mary Kay and Robert Jones of Jonesboro and the granddaughter of the late Elaine and Jim Pace and the late Flo and Phil Jones. She graduated from Georgetown University and is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
His parents are Jennifer and Eric Bernauer of San Francisco and his grandparents are Jane Bradley of San Mateo, Calif., the late Jim Soden and Mary and Dave Bernauer of Marco Island, Fla. He has a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and is a project manager at Amazon.
Julia Elizabeth White and Trevor Ferguson have made plans to marry Nov. 17 at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts in Little Rock.
Her parents are Jeanie and Robin White of Conway. She is the granddaughter of the late Lois Gene and Paul Russell, the late Mary and Alan White. She is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in insurance and risk management and is an account executive specializing in transportation and logistics for an insurance brokerage firm.
He is the son of Julie and Mark Ferguson of Conway and the grandson of Carolyn and the late David L. Baker and Linda and Herbert Ferguson. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and a law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law. He is a tax attorney at EY.
