JUDITH “JUDY” KAY BROWN,

-

79, of Sherwood, was born in North Little Rock, Ark., on February 16, 1944, and went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 9, 2023.

She was raised in North Little Rock, where she met the love of her life, Ronny Brown, at a Sweetheart Banquet at Levy Baptist Church. They were inseparable from that point on and began their life together.

Ronny and Judy owned and operated Mark’s Air Conditioning Service for over 40 years, until their retirement. After that, they became Realtors. Throughout their life together, they enjoyed spending time with friends and traveling abroad and across the United States. In all of their 60-plus years together, they rarely spent a day apart.

Loved by everyone who knew her, Judy never met a stranger. She filled every room with kindness and joy from the moment she walked in. The glass was always half-full, and the sky was always blue. If you needed a friend, confidant, or shoulder to cry on, Judy was always there. While she is now with our Heavenly Father, her legacy of sunshine and grace remains with us here on Earth.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronny; her daughter, Jana Harris (Pat); her son, Bryan Brown (Tiffany); and grandchildren, Hayley Harris, Hannah Harris, Collins Brown, and Bryson Brown.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 12, at Park Hill Baptist Church where Judy and Ronny were members for over 45 years. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with the service following at 11 a.m.

Judy will be interred at Crestlawn Memorial Park immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Park Hill Baptist Church, the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
