HEBER SPRINGS — Deborah Evans Levine was born Oct. 11, 1951, in Jacksonville, Ark., to Howard and Viola Steinle Evans. She was a graduate of Lake Village High School. Never one to sit still, Debbie worked in several fields during her lifetime, whether it was her time as a teller at First South Savings and Loan, or an administrative assistant at the Bankruptcy Agency or the Area Agency on Aging. She was a social butterfly who loved shopping, spending time with her friends, and talking – a lot! She enjoyed the fellowship of family and church friends and was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She also loved going to Cash and Carter’s games.

Debbie married the love of her life, Lawrence “Larry” Levine on the beautiful day of Nov. 6, 2004, at Gaston’s Resort, and she loved spending time with him and helping him with the Hayward House Duck Club. She also loved her pets and would rescue anyone she could.

Debbie passed away on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Eddie Evans.

Survivors include her daughters, Mindy (Matt) Coleman and Missy (Michael) Shipman; her beloved grandchildren, Cash and Carter Coleman; and her dear friends Mari and Don Eilbott, Rosemary and Wes Kerr, and Mary and John Armour (whom she was also blessed to have as her neighbor).

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son, followed by a celebration of her life at 2 p.m. Rev. Allan McKinley will officiate.

Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to your local animal rescue.
