— Janis (Jan) Ann Enderlin Lipsmeyer, 82, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away at home on January 8, 2024.

She was born on September 20, 1941, in Conway, Ark., to the late Henry and Albertine Rose Enderlin. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School in Conway and Arkansas State Teachers College (UCA).

Jan was an avid tennis player and, in particular, enjoyed the camaraderi­e of team tennis, winning many Senior Division tournament­s. She was an accomplish­ed quilter having many quilts on display and making cherished heirlooms for her children and grandchild­ren.

Jan was very active at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village, where her roles included scheduling for the Eucharisti­c Ministry and serving on the Liturgy and Pastoral Commission.

Jan is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Larry J. Lipsmeyer; her three children, Maria Fisk, Larry H. Lipsmeyer (Donna), and Christine Lipsmeyer (Guy Whitten); and her two sisters, Beth Hambuchen and Ginny Wene (Ron). Jan will always be remembered as Gram to her six grandchild­ren, Emma, Nathan, Wilson, Merritt, Anna, and Lauren. They brought joy to her life.

Rosary will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 12th at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will immediatel­y follow at 11 a.m. with Father Bill Elser officiatin­g.

Inurnment will follow at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Caring Place, Arkansas Hospice, and Good Samaritan Services at Home.

In lieu of flowers please send memorials in Janis’s honor to The Caring Place, of Hot Springs, St. Joseph’s School in Conway, Sacred Heart of Jesus’ Catholic Church cemetery fund, Hot Springs Village.
