On April 22, 1977, she married the love of her life, Robert Heath Jr. Together, they had two children, Trey and Barry Heath. Vicki is predeceased by her parents, Victor and Jean Young, and granddaughter, Blakelee Palmer Heath.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert Heath Jr.; two sons, Trey and Brittnie Heath of Jessieville and Barry and Bridget Heath of Bonnerdale; grandchildren, Dexton Hilton and Karlee, Raygan Hilton, Brinklee Heath, Preslee Heath, Brylee Heath, and Diggs Heath; one great grandson, Layton Thomas; one sister, Sherry Mooney and Robert Earl of Prattsville; nieces, nephews and a host of friends, as well as her favorite rabbit Roman Reigns.
Mrs. Vicki as most know her joined the Jessieville School district in September 1996. During her time at Jessieville, she served as high school secretary and bus driver. She was a mama to many students and adults in the district and was fiercely loyal to Jessieville. Mrs. Vicki was the heart and soul of the high school building. Her love for people and the district were evident every day.
She loved her job, but nothing came close to the joy she had as Mammie. She was always the fun grandma. She cherished her grandkids and looked forward to spending time with them. One of their favorite outings consisted of Chick-fil-A and trips to Petco, with hopes of getting hamsters. There was never a dull moment when they were all together.
Mrs. Vicki’s door was always open to everyone. Many of Trey and Barry’s friends spent countless hours at her house and could tell you many stories, all including the great woman she was.
