CONWAY — Ronald Linn Spradlin,

aged 82, a resident of Conway, Ark., passed away on April 1st, 2024. Ron was born on May 15th, 1941, to Lescley and Josie Spradlin and grew up in Mount Vernon, Ark. He attended Mount Vernon and Jacksonvil­le High Schools. He attended college at Bringham Young University and University of Central Arkansas.

Ron married Patricia Lynn Willbanks from Conway in 1962. Ron and Pat have been blessed with six children. In retirement they were called to a two-year service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, helping with addiction and recovery support.

Ron’s profession­al journey began as a salesman for various companies. He retired from Keathley Patterson after over 30 years of service, where he excelled as a purchasing manager.

Ron participat­ed and served in his community as a member of Toastmaste­rs Internatio­nal, President of Lion’s Club, President of The Purchasing Managment Associatio­n of Arkansas, and served as Bishop along with many other callings as a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ron enjoyed gardening, storytelli­ng, playing his harmonica and dulcimer, and sharing his magic and poetry with family and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lescley and Josie Spradlin; and his brother, Donald Spradlin.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Patricia Spradlin; their six children, Malinda Smith (Michael) Shelly Duke (Sean), Randy Spradlin, Lorrie Ozley (Raymond), Kevin Spradlin (Carli), Danny Spradlin (Jaci); 20 grandchild­ren; and 12 great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will take place at the Conway Roller-McNutt funeral home Thursday, April 4, from 6-8 p.m., and a celebratio­n of Ron’s life will take place on Friday, April 5th, at 2 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Conway, Ark.
