JEAN INEZ SMYTHE,

-

more affectionately known as” Tinker” by her family and will be referred to by this term of endearment henceforth. It was a loving term affectionately given to her by her mother when she was young, for reasons unknown.

Tinker was born in Halley, Ark., on December 22, 1939, not long after World War II broke out in the European theatre. She was born to Marie and Rue Tullous both deceased, and was one of four children that they bore. Her siblings included Troy, who died in a tragic farming accident at age 5 after falling off a tractor while taking lunch to his father in the field. She also had two other sisters, Ruth and Verlie, both deceased, who she loved dearly and often mourned their death prior to hers. She also had a much younger brother, born to a different father, John Skowronski. John is the only surviving sibling and the author of this obituary, my father was also named John and., was considered by Tinker to be her actual father, her biological father having vacated the family many years before, although a deathbed reconciliation did occur with Rue. She is also survived by her uncle Jake, 11 nephews and nieces, with Tina and Havis Strom visiting often. Several cousins stayed in close contact, Sandy Sharp being one.

Viewing will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W.
