As the weather gets nice, it means the lax bros are back out on the field.

The sport of lacrosse is continuing to grow at the Shore, so much that players have now gone on to play at the collegiate level. Whether it's Division I, II, or III it's never easy playing at the next level so every player deserves recognitio­n.

Henry Spencer, Air Force, Fr.

The midfielder that played at Red Bank Regional was a four-year varsity player in high school. He stands at six feet, graduated with a 4.0 GPA, is majoring in business.

Canyon Birch, Tampa, Sr.

Birch, the state-record scoring star at Manasquan who began his collegiate career at Penn State, had a 36-goal debut season a year ago at Tampa and currently has 33 goals in 9 games this season.

Sean Perkinson, Arcadia, Fr.

The 5-foot-10 midfielder graduated from Colts Neck where he played four years on varsity. His senior season he was named to Second Team All-Division A North.

Nate Lorenzo, Belmont Abby College, Fr.

Back at Howell he was the coaches' A North Player of the Year. He has the second-most points in Howell High history.

Ryan Croddick, Princeton, G

One goal allowed this season in three appearance­s as a backup.

Ryan Caufield, Bentley University, Fr.

A six-foot-one defenseman who was team captain at Christian Brothers Academy his senior season.

Nick Bonfiglio, Caldwell University, Sr.

Midfielder is a transfer from McDaniel College; he's a Middletown South product. He stands at 5-foot-11 and is 215 pounds.

Jack Joyce, Kenyon (Gambier, Ohio), Jr.

Joyce was a key piece when Rumson-Fair Haven didn't allow any team to score in double figures, notched a shutout and held 10 teams to two goals or less in 2021.

Jack Hanf, Caldwell University, Fr.

A six-foot-three defenseman who graduated from Point Pleasant Borough.

Spencer Knapp, Caldwell University, Fr.

A six-foot-two attack that weighs 250 pounds and is from Point Pleasant Borough.

Kole Levy, Caldwell University, So.

Southern Regional grad that plays midfielder and stands at five-foot-eight.

James McCarthy, Caldwell University, Fr.

The defenseman out of Middletown South stands at five-foot-nine, and weighed in at 175 pounds.

Shane Murphy, Caldwell University, Sr.

A goalkeeper that was was a four-year varsity player at Middletown South. Last season he played in 10 games, got two assists in the season-opener against the University of the District of Columbia, and caused two turnovers.

Liam Schwartz, Connecticu­t College, Freshman

A six-foot-four midfielder from CBA and weighs 180 pounds heading into his first collegiate season.

John McCurry, Delaware, Freshman

A four-year varsity starter from Wall Township that played midfielder and attack. He holds the school record for most points with (330). Was on the 2023 Shore Conference First Team and was a 2023 Division Player of the Year.

Ryder Villani, Delaware, Freshman

The RBR grad was a two-year varsity starter at midfielder and team captain. Was selected 2022 Second Team B North Conference 2021 Second Team B North Conference.

Billy Carr, University of Denver, Freshman

A six-foot-four defenseman from Wall Township and weighs 210 pounds.

Pete Abbes, Embry-Riddle, Junior

An attack that graduated from Middletown North and finished with 133 points, 84 goals, and 49 assists as a four-year starter.

Luke Barber, Embry-Riddle, Freshman

Toms River East grad that was a two-year team captain and Team MVP back in 2022. He stands at fivefoot-nine and weighs 165.

Carter Groezinger, Embry-Riddle, Sophomore

A Manasquan graduate that's a two-time state champ that made 202 saves and finished with a 64.4% save percentage.

Tommy Morris, Embry-Riddle, Freshman

A midfielder from Point Pleasant that was a team captain for his high school team. Holds the record prior to college in winning face-offs.

Walker Hunter, Fairfield, Freshman

Hunter holds the school record with 528 career saves and a 70% save percentage at Shore Regional.

Aiden Dubinski, FDU, Freshman

The defenseman from Marlboro is five-foot-nine and 165 pounds.

Luke Devlin, Dickenson (Carlisle, Pa.), So.

At Rumson-Fair Haven, Devlin in the NJSIAA South Group 2 final against Wall scored the game-winning goal in an 8-7 final.

Mitchell McPaul, FDU, Junior

The defenseman from Jackson stands at six feet tall and 150 pounds, he played in three games last season as a sophomore.

Nicholas Perillo, FDU, Senior

An attack from Jackson that stands at five-foot-nine. Last season he appeared in 18 games and started in three of them. He finished with 12 goals and 14 assists as a junior.

Trevor Reid, FDU, Freshman

The defenseman from Middletown North weighs 170 pounds and stands at 5-foot-10.

Matthew Brockleman, Brown, Fr.

A Rumson-Fair Haven graduate.

Mike Farrell, Richmond, So.

Played in 13 games last year.

Stephen Albanese, Georgian Court, Junior

The Red Bank Catholic grad plays midfielder and does the face-offs for his team. He's originally from Brick and stands at six-foot-two.

Tyler Burns, Georgian Court, Sophomore

The five-foot-eight midfielder from Howell is entering his second collegiate season.

Vincent Burns, Georgian Court, Sophomore

Burns is from Howell, an attackman, and stands at five-foot-six.

Filipe Correia, Georgian Court, Junior

The five-foot-five attackman graduated from Brick Memorial and is heading into his third collegiate season.

Ryan Dautrich, Georgian Court, Senior

The 5-foot-10 attackman graduated from Toms River South but is originally from Pine Beach.

Logan Dennison, Georgian Court, Redshirt Junior

The five-foot-nine attackman graduated from Howell as a Rebel.

Colin Devine, Kean University, Sophomore

A defenseman from Middletown North that played in eight games last year as a freshman. He finished with three ground balls and caused one turnover in his first college season.

Daniel Fleming, Georgian Court, Redshirt Sophomore

The midfielder graduated from Donovan Catholic, but is from Toms River. He's six feet and transferre­d from Monmouth University.

Thomas Fleming, Georgian Court, Redshirt Sophomore

The 5-foot-11 midfielder graduated from Donovan Catholic but hometown is Toms River.

Kyle Harms, Georgian Court, Senior

The midfielder stands at five-foot-eight, graduated from Red Bank Catholic, and is from Wall.

Justin Iannarone, Georgian Court, Redshirt senior

Iannarone plays both midfielder and faceoff for his school. He graduated from Brick Township and stands at 5-foot-11.

Ryan Kane, Georgian Court, Freshman

The long stick midfielder graduated from Middletown North and stands at five-foot-eight.

Cody Kromer, Georgian Court, Senior

The 5-foot-10 midfielder from Toms River North is entering his fourth collegiate season.

Logan Lupo, Georgian Court, Junior

The six foot defenseman used to play for Colts Neck and will enter his third collegiate season.

Mike Long, Georgian Court, Junior

The attackman stands at five-foot-eight, weighs 140 pounds and is from Lacey Township.

Doug Mackenzie, Georgian Court, Sophomore

The Howell graduate stands at six feet and plays midfielder.

Vaughn Meehan, Georgian Court, Senior

A midfielder and face-off player that graduated from Howell and stands at five-foot-nine.

Michael Schone, Georgian Court, Redshirt junior

The six-foot-one defenseman graduated from Jackson Liberty and entering his junior year.

Evan Singer, Georgian Court, Freshman

The five-foot-eight goalkeeper from Toms River North is in his first collegiate season.

Neil Spira, Georgian Court, Junior

The 5-foot-11 midfielder from Freehold Borough is entering his third season at the school.

Joey DeYoung, Hofstra, Freshman

At his career at Southern Regional the midfielder finished with 143 goals and 57 assists. He had 61 goals and 23 assists as a senior.

Corey Finnegan, Kean University, Senior

The six-foot-two long stick midi and defenseman graduated from Toms River North. Last season he played in 11 games and started in eight where he had 13 ground balls.

Trevor Foss, Kean University, Senior

Last season, the Toms River North grad and midfielder played in five games, finished with two goals, plus he scored a victory goal over SUNY Poly.

Gavin Lisko, Kean University, Freshman

A goalkeeper from Red Bank Regional who stands at five-foot-eight and weighs 170 pounds.

Cormac McCabe, Kean University, Grad Student

The Point Pleasant Borough graduate played in 19 games last season where he finished with 19 goals and four assists. He also had 20 ground balls and caused three turnovers.

Christian Schlaefer, Kean University, Junior

Last season he scored four goals and had one assist in 12 games. He's a midfielder that graduated from Brick Township.

Nick Blalock, Lafayette, Freshman

From Rumson but graduated from CBA, the four-year varsity player was a two-time First Team All-Shore pick back in high school.

Tim Beahm, Manhattenv­ille College, Freshman

A longstick defenseman and midfielder that stands at six-foot-one and graduated from Toms River North.

Aidan Quinn, Marist, Junior

A six-foot-two defenseman that played for CBA and helped lead his team to a Class A North Championsh­ip title as a captain. He didn't play any games his freshman year in college, but has ramped up his usage as of late.

Dylan LeBlanc, Loyola, So.

Debut season after missing the 2023 campaign with an injury; older brother Kyle was a member of the Loyola men's lacrosse team from 2018-22 and was a three-year starter on defense.
