Meet the 2023-24 All-Shore teams

Meet the top boys high school bowlers in the Shore Conference.

The two All-Shore teams consist of some of the best bowlers the state has to offer. There were underclass­men with numbers that already rival some of the best in the area and the top upperclass­men delivered, too. Here's your first and second All-Shore list.

FIRST TEAM Joe Dominguez, Freehold Township, Class of 2024

The senior had the high average of 232 in the Shore Conference and was fourth in at states. He finished second in the Super Bowl and Monmouth County Tournament. He was also fourth in the Rule the River and Roll with the Indians. He also finished seventh in the South Jersey singles and the Shore Conference team meet.

Jake Diaz, Howell, Class of 2024

The senior had a 222 average this season and was first in the Monmouth County Tournament. Was second in the Tufaro Classic and the Westfield Tournament. Third in the Shore Conference team event and the Central jersey Winter Classic. He was fourth in the NJ State Individual.

Donaven Kline, Wall, Class of 2027

The freshman had a 227 average and won the Bayshore tournament and the South Jersey Singles. He was fifth in the Battle of Bristol and sixth in the Shore Conference Individual­s. He was also eighth in the Monmouth County Tournament.

Tommy Hastry, Matawan, Class of 2024

The senior had a 215.5 average this season. He was high in the Shore Conference Team event with a 733. He finished fourth in the Bayshore and fifth twice in the South Jersey Singles and the Monmouth County Championsh­ip. In the NJ Central Sectionals he was 11th.

Ryan Maillard, Toms River East, Class of 2024

Maillard finished the season with a 203.1 average. He won the Game of Thrones and finished second in the Shore Conference Team. He was third place in the South Jersey Singles and fourth in the Shore Conference Individual. In the Bayshore he placed fifth overall.

Matt Jinks, Donovan Catholic, Class of 2024

Jinks finished the season with a 216.6 average. He won the Super Bowl and placed fourth place in the Shore Conference Singles. He was fifth in the Shore Conference Team event and finished fifth in Roll with the Indians.

SECOND TEAM Nino Cantalupo, Manchester Twp., Class of 2024

Finished the season with a 215.5 average. He was second in Roll with the Indians and third in the Game of Thrones. He finished fifth in the Shore Conference Individual­s, seventh in the Brick Tournament, and ninth in the Battle at Bristol.

Anthony Alston, Toms River East, Class of 2024

Alston had a 204 average in his senior campaign. He was second in the Shore Conference Individual­s as well as second in the Bayshore. He was fifth in the NJSIAA team competitio­n and finished eight in the

South Jersey Singles.

Brighton Boyce, Freehold Twp., Class of 2025

Boyce had a 205.7 average on the season, was third in the Shore Conference Team event and fifth in the Roll with the Indians. He was 12th in the NJSIAA individual­s and sixth in the Monmouth County Tournament.

Austin Wolcott, Barnegat, Class of 2025

Wolcott finished his season with a 209.3 average. He won the Roll with the Indians and finished 10th in the Shore Conference Individual tournament.

Matt Baxter, Toms River East, Class of 2024

Baxter finished the season with a 198.8 average. He finished third in the Tufaro Classic. He finished fourth in the South Jersey Sectionals and seventh in Roll with the Indians.

Jason Bennett, Colts Neck, Class of 2026

The sophomore had a 211.7 average, finished fourth in the Monmouth County Tournament and seventh in the Shore Conference Individual­s. He took 10th place in the South Jersey Singles.
