The AmericanSt­atesman contacted Perkins’ family at their home in East Austin by phone Saturday night.

However, Perkins’ cousin declined to comment and said the family is asking for privacy.

According to KVUE, Perkins is the cousin of former Longhorns football player Jamaal Charles’ wife.

Charles also plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The couple in late October attended a Chiefs Halloween event, posing with their daughter, dressed in an orange tutu and wearing a black bow.

But the public posts end there. It’s unclear whether Perkins changed her Facebook privacy settings, but Perkins’ last public activity appears to be Thursday, when she updated her profile picture.
