Local event mixes crafts and nature

The Bastrop YMCA is inviting kids of all ages to come out from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday for their Kid’s Fest at 921 Main St.

The event will let the children transform natural material from the Lost Pines region into gifts to take home. For information, call 512-332-8805.
