Schwartzel takes lead in Thailand

Charl Schwartzel shot a 7-under 65 Thursday to take a one-stroke lead over Thitiphun Chuayprakong after the first round of the Thailand Golf Championship in Chon Buri.

■ Shanshan Feng shot a 7-under 65 and take a four-stroke lead over Florentyna Parker at 13under 131 after the second round of the LPGA Dubai Ladies Masters in the United Arab Emirates.

■ John Senden shot a 6-under 66 to take a two-stroke lead over five players, including Englishman Justin Rose, after the first round of the Australian Open in Sydney.
