There’s a name for kids who sit in a base­ment lis­ten­ing to sound-ef­fects al­bums. Fan­boys. In 1981, be­fore that term en­tered the pop­u­lar lex­i­con, you’d prob­a­bly just call them ob­ses­sive movie lovers.
