Texas (5-1) hopes to take bet­ter care of the bas­ket­ball when it plays host to Louisiana-Mon­roe on Tues­day.

The Horns could get a lift when shoot­ing guard Chas­sidy Fus­sell re­turns. Fus­sell missed the UCLA game af­ter sus­tain­ing a head in­jury Nov. 30 against Texas A&M-Cor­pus Christi and is listed as dayto-day.

The UCLA game ex­posed sev­eral Texas short­com­ings that might have been over­looked dur­ing the 5-0 start.
